AMINOGLUTETHIMIDE INTERACTIONS WITH WARFARIN (Coumadin, Jantoven)
There are no reports on the National Library of Medicine's Medline that detail a patient actually suffering harm from this interaction. This does not mean that it does not occur. Because tumors are important risk factors for a blood clot, it is possible that a person may be taking both medications. To be safe, have your INR monitored about 3 to 5 days after starting or stopping aminoglutethimide and continuing warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven).
