AMINOSALICYLIC ACID INTERACTIONS WITH WARFARIN (Coumadin, Jantoven)
I can find no report in a medical journal showing that this interaction ever caused anyone any harm. It is probably more theoretical than actual.
If you are taking warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven) and start taking aminosalicylic acid, you should have your INR checked. Your dose of warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven) may need to be adjusted downward.
If you are taking warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven) and aminosalicylic acid and stop the aminosalicylic acid, you should have your INR checked. Your warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven) dose may need to be adjusted upward.
