FLUVASTATIN INTERACTION WITH WARFARIN

I do not believe that this is a well substantiated interaction. I cannot find any medical journal reports of anyone being harmed by this interaction.
However, if you are taking warfarin and start taking fluvastatin, your INR might rise. This means that you will have an effect as if you had increased your dose of warfarin. To make sure that your INR does not get high enough to cause bleeding problems, you should have your blood checked. Your dose of warfarin may need to be adjusted downward.
