METFORMIN INTERACTION WITH WARFARIN
Schier reported on a case of metabolic acidosis associated with warfarin and metformin. EDITOR'S NOTE: Metabolic acidosis is a serious and life threatening condition. This should not be taken lightly.
One of the readers of this site reported that it was necessary to increase the warfarin dose by 14 mg/wk after metformin was added.
