This is a page where I list requests from people for which I cannot find answers. The hundreds of people who read the warfarinfo pages every day probably have more knowledge to share than many of the medical journals. This is not very scientific, but the answers have eluded us when we used those means. If you respond to this queries on this page, you can be sure that I will never give out your e-mail address without your permission. INTERACTION BETWEEN METFORMIN (Glucophage) AND WARFARIN A reader of this site has reported a need to increase the dose of warfarin by 14 mg/wk after being started on metformin. No previous reference has been made to this in the literature. This person also has Hughes (Antiphospholipid Antibody) Syndrome. If anyone else has experienced a similar interaction please contact me at the e-mail address below. INTERACTION BETWEEN INDOMETHACIN (Indocin) AND WARFARIN A reader has reported a possible interaction between indomethacin and warfarin. There are no reports in any medical journal of anyone being harmed by this interaction during the past ten years.
